Red stag is the flagship of Parque Diana. The March–April roar is what most of our returning hunters come for — and the reason those weeks sell out first. We market both free-range, fair-chase hunts and high-fence hunts, so you can choose the experience that matches your goals.
This country is classic red stag country: broken timber, high meadows and river bottoms where mature stags hold their hinds through the rut. We hunt them the way they should be hunted — on foot, into the wind, closing the last hundred metres when the roar tells you the stag is committed.
Every stag is judged in the field by your guide before the shot. We take mature animals only, and we keep pressure light so the herd genetics stay strong season after season. Most of our hunters come for a gold-medal or SCI-book stag and hold out for it — that is the hunt we are built around. A smaller number choose a representative Patagonian stag. We offer both free-range, fair-chase hunts in our private Andean ranges and high-fence hunts for those who want a more controlled environment and the strongest trophy potential.

1995President Carlos Menem & the CIC South American Record
In 1995, two-time President of Argentina Carlos Menem hunted red stag at Parque Diana. The stag he took that season was entered into the CIC record book and recognized then as the South American Record for Cervus elaphus — a reminder that this ground has produced trophies recognized well beyond Patagonia.
